How to Achieve the Paloma Faith Look

Step 1: Spray the GHD Thermal Protector into the hair this will help to protect the hair from any heat damage. Next apply GHD Maximise Mousse from root to tip this will help boost volume.

Step 2: GHD Sea Spray will help tp create more texture in the hair. Spray this all over then dry the product into the hair.

Step 3: You need to section the hair into 4 sections. Part the hair down the centre from the hairline all the way down to the nape of the neck. Then again from the top of your head down to each ear. Clip all of these 4 sections up. Start with the back left section and using the GHD IV Styler starighten over this, twist and clip back up to set. You need to do this on all of the sections.

Step 4: Take all of the sections down, then back comb the root area of the crown to give extra volume. Using the GHD Precision Wax, work into the mid-lengths and ends, if you scrunch the wax into the hair the more texture will be added.

Step 5: Finally sweep the frindge across your forehead you may need a pin to hold this into place. To complete the look spray GHD Ultimate hairspray all over to give extra hold.

Leading Stylists Laura completed the GHD Catwalk & Fashion Dressing course where she learnt three hot new looks which come straight from the fashion runways of London, Rome and New York. The three new looks learnt are called Twisted Elegance, Dishevelled Elegance and Dreamy Indulgence. So if you have a special ocassion coming up and you want the latest look which will make you stand out from the crowd, then one of styles could be for you.

 

Paul Merritt Signature Course - Urban Course

While Artistic Designer Liam and Creative Designer Sam attened the Urban Course Signature, developed by award-winning stylist Paul Merritt from Channel 4's "The Salon". Urban Couture offers a contemporary approach to hairdressing using precision cutting skills, where the preparation of the hair before the cut is critical to perfecting amazing hair. With the new skills learnt, Liam and Sam are able to create three uniquely different looks using the one adaptable cutting technique, the results are truely Couture.

Finalists at GHD Expert Awards

Moda Greco Hair Salon in Leicester have again been nominated for the finals of the GHD Expert Awards. This is the second year in a sucession that the salon has been nominated for this award. The award cermony took take place at the Cafe Royal in London, 17th March 2007.

Over 350 guests attended the awards including, industry icons and hairdressers from all over the UK. The event includes a champagne reception, three course meal, exclusice fashion show, the award presentations and a aftershow party including the launched of the GHD Dark or Pure.
